Treviso is a city to visit in every season, at a slow pace, to be able to savor every corner, discover original views, and breathe the quiet city life.

Piazza dei Signori is the heart of the city and a meeting place for locals. In this square there are the Palazzo del Trecento and the elegant Loggia Dei Cavalieri.

The rivers Sile and Cagnan that slip through the streets give a unique charm to the historic center surrounded by ancient walls. The houses with splendidly painted facades are reflected on the Buranelli canal and on the Isola del Pesce, which was born in the Cagnan river to host the fish market and testifies to the close relationship of Treviso with its waters.

The Cathedral is a noteworthy monument and the frescoes by Pordenone and an altarpiece with the Annunciation of the Titan can be found in its Malinco chapel. Other treasures are contained in the Museum Complex of Santa Caterina dei Servi di Maria, including the Story of Sant’Orsola by Tommaso da Modena, and masterpieces by G. Bellini, Lotto, Tiziano and J. Bassano.

Also worth visiting is the Dominican church of San Nicolò, with the famous Chapter room full of frescoes by Tommaso da Modena. Casa Cararresi is an ideal place for art lovers as it has hosted many international exhibitions in recent years.
